Chief Justice Dustin Rowe and Justice Travis Jett of the Oklahoma Supreme Court visited the Woodward County Courthouse on January 5, 2025, highlighting the essential role of local court staff in delivering justice.
This visit emphasized the strong relationship between state judicial leaders and local court operations.
They met with District Judge Justin P. Eilers and Associate District Judge Erin Kirksey to discuss the unique successes and ongoing challenges faced by the local judiciary.
Justice Jett, who grew up in northwest Oklahoma, brought a deep community perspective to the Supreme Court after being appointed by Governor Kevin Stitt in April 2025 and sworn in by Chief Justice Rowe on June 23.
Chief Justice Rowe stressed the importance of ongoing engagement, reaffirming the Supreme Courtâs commitment to supporting local justice.
