The 2025 Summer Youth Arts Camp in Woodward is still accepting sign-ups, offering a golden opportunity for our community's young artists to explore and develop their talents.
Scheduled from July 21 to July 25, this five-day camp is designed for school-age children between 8 and 18 years old.
Hosted by the Woodward Arts & Theatre Council, the camp provides a comprehensive arts education experience.
Tuition is set at $125, but scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring that financial constraints don't hinder participation.
Each day begins with doors opening at 8:30 AM and concludes with pickup at 2:30 PM.
Participants are required to bring their own lunch.
For more details and to register, visit the Woodward Arts Theatre's official website.
In addition to the arts camp, Woodward is buzzing with cultural events this summer.
The Home of the Brave Festival is set for July 4 at Crystal Beach Park, offering a day filled with festivities.
On July 5, the Flea Market at the Market will take place at the Woodward Farmers Market, providing a platform for local vendors and artisans.
These events highlight the vibrant arts scene in our community.
Notably, Woodward artist Amber recently made her debut at the Paseo Arts Festival in Oklahoma City, showcasing nature-inspired watercolor art that captivated attendees.
Her success underscores the importance of nurturing young talent through programs like the Summer Youth Arts Camp.
By supporting and enrolling our children in these programs, we not only foster their individual growth but also contribute to the cultural enrichment of Woodward.
Let's come together to ensure every creative child in our community has the opportunity to shine.
For more information on the camp and other upcoming events, please contact the Woodward Arts & Theatre Council.
